Chromium and biotin affect diabetes
We investigated the effects of a combination of chromium and biotin on cholesterol levels in people with type 2 diabetes. In a randomized, double-blind trial with 348 participants, those taking the supplement showed improvements in blood sugar levels and cholesterol levels compared to the placebo group.

However, while the chromium and biotin combination did yield positive results for cholesterol in some participants, overall, we found no significant changes in lipid levels for all participants. This suggests that while chromium and biotin may help with metabolic factors, their direct impact on cholesterol may be limited.

Thicker hair achieved

At 65, I noticed my hair was thinning considerably, particularly at the front. After six months of taking biotin, I observed that my hair had thickened significantly. While my bald spot remains, the overall body and thickness at the front have improved, allowing me to style my hair more freely. I highly recommend it for both men and women seeking to improve their hair volume.

This product has been more than wonderful; it completely halted my hair loss. I highly recommend it for anyone experiencing similar issues.

Strengthened nails

I used biotin to strengthen my hair and nails, and it worked well. My nails became tougher, and my hair also felt stronger. I did experience some breakouts with high doses of biotin previously, but this lower dose did not cause any acne and seemed beneficial without adverse effects.

Side effects noted

While biotin can benefit those with a deficiency, I found its side effects to be quite prominent. After just one week of use, I developed pimples and acne, which took a month to clear after I ceased taking it. Initially, I recommend consulting with a healthcare professional to confirm if you have a deficiency before beginning the supplement. If you do, consider trying an intermittent usage strategy.

No visible results
Unfortunately, this biotin was ineffective for me. My hair remained thin and continued to fall out, despite having no significant nutrient deficiencies. I tried different dosages, from one to five capsules, but experienced no positive results. There were no side effects, but it felt like I was taking a placebo. I plan to try a different brand in higher doses to see if I notice better effects.
